About this journey

Walk the terraced fields, fishponds and banks of the Ciwulan around Kampung Naga with a village guide.

The fields around Kampung Naga are harvested twice a year, and fishponds fill the spaces between houses. With a village guide we walk the dykes and the banks of the Ciwulan river, which rises on Mount Cikuray. Along the way you see rice drying on woven trays, fishponds and how residents manage water. The route is easy to moderate, about 5 kilometres, and ends with a rest in the village before climbing back up the sengked stairs.
