About this journey

Two days through Munduk's forests and gardens to Lakes Tamblingan and Buyan, staying in the village.

On day one we walk from Munduk through clove and coffee gardens, stopping where families dry cloves, then on to waterfalls and forest around the village. We spend the night in a village guesthouse with a home-cooked dinner. Day two begins early at Lake Tamblingan. From the shore you can see Pura Ulun Danu Tamblingan, revered as a temple for Dewi Danu; we view it from outside the sacred area. The walk continues along the ridge with views of Lake Buyan before returning to Munduk.
