About this journey

Understand the bond between lake, temple and rice field with a Bedugul priest, then greet sunset at Tanah Lot.

This journey follows water from source to sea. On the shore of Lake Beratan, a priest explains Ulun Danu's role in the subak system and invites you to prepare a simple offering. In the afternoon we descend to the Tabanan coast to watch worshippers at Tanah Lot as the sun sets, hearing the story of the priest Dang Hyang Nirartha.
